Spegra (Spegra) is a combination drug for the treatment of HIV-1. It contains dolutegravir, emtricitabine, and tenofovir alafenamide.
It is used to treat HIV-1 and maintain viral suppression in patients who have already received antiretroviral therapy.
Spegra is available in the form of white, oval, film-coated tablets. It is taken once a day with water. Treatment usually lasts for the rest of a patient's life.
The drug should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to its components, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, taking rifampicin or carbamazepine, as well as children under 12 years of age and people with a weight of less than 40 kg.
Among the possible side effects are insomnia, headache, nausea and fatigue.
