Pylera (Pylera) is a combined drug in the form of capsules, which contains three active components: potassium subcitrate bismuth, metronidazole and tetracycline hydrochloride. It is available in packs of 120 capsules. The manufacturer is Laboratoires Juvise (France).
Each capsule contains:
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, talc, titanium dioxide, gelatin, shellac, propylene glycol, red iron oxide.
Capsules are white, opaque, with the inscription "BMT" on the cap. The primary packaging is a white plastic bottle with a screw cap.
The drug has anti-ulcer activity. It destroys bacteria, relieves inflammation, accelerates the healing of ulcers, and restores the functioning of the stomach.
The effectiveness of the drug depends on three components:
"Pylera" is used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection.
The drug is used in combination with proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole.
It is not recommended to take "Pylera" if:
If the doctor has not prescribed an individual regimen, the drug is taken in three capsules four times a day: after a meal and before going to bed for 10 days.
Simultaneously with Pileara, omeprazole is prescribed in 20 mg twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.
Capsules should be swallowed whole, with water. It is better not to lie down after taking the drug.
