Apremilast is an oral drug from the group of immunosuppressants.

Indications for use:

• Psoriatic arthritis is a chronic joint disease accompanied by psoriasis. Plaque psoriasis is a skin disease with prominent red rashes.
• Ulcers in the oral cavity caused by Behcet's disease, a systemic disease affecting the eyes, mouth, and genitals.

Recommended dose: 30 mg twice a day, morning and evening, with an interval of 12 hours, regardless of food intake.

Side effects: diarrhea, nausea, respiratory tract infections, headache.

Contraindications: allergy to apremilast or its components, pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Treatment with Apremilast should be performed by a doctor specializing in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
